Dr. Kristin Wild specializes in traumatic relationship recovery and support for individuals living with autoimmune conditions. With more than twenty years of experience, Kristin blends evidence-based therapy, person-centred counselling, nervous system regulation, and mind-body approaches to help clients create clarity, safety, and meaningful healing. Alongside her Applied Psychology degree, she also holds a PhD in Metaphysics, where her research centred on understanding the nature of human consciousness.

Traumatic Relationship Recovery

Kristin works with individuals who are currently in traumatic or emotionally unsafe relationships, those who have recently left one, and those who continue to feel the effects of past relational trauma. Her approach offers a grounded, non-judgmental space to understand patterns, rebuild identity, and restore emotional and physical safety.

With over two decades of experience, Kristin has worked at every level of risk, including volunteering at the Lurana Shelter, which serves some of Canada’s most complex and high-risk domestic violence cases. Additionally, she designed and built a national Family Law Advocacy Program for Mamas for Mamas, supporting women navigating the legal system in high-conflict relationships, separation, and domestic abuse. This gives her a deep understanding of the emotional, relational, and practical challenges clients face in these situations.

Autoimmune Support & Mind-Body Healing

Kristin also specializes in counselling for autoimmune conditions, informed not only by clinical expertise but by her own personal healing journey. After overcoming a ten-year struggle with multiple autoimmune diseases, she developed a comprehensive mind-body program that has helped countless women find relief, stability, and renewed hope. She works with all autoimmune diseases, including the nine most common: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Hashimoto’s, Graves’ Disease, Psoriasis/Psoriatic Arthritis, Celiac Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, & Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Crohn’s & Ulcerative Colitis).

Her approach focuses on nervous system regulation, emotional patterns, nutrition, stress physiology, and the mind-body connection. Factors that strongly influence symptom expression and overall resilience.

Kristin’s Therapeutic Approach

Kristin practices person-centred counselling, ensuring every client feels understood, respected, and actively involved in their healing process. Clients describe her presence as steady, clear, compassionate, and empowering. She believes healing unfolds step by step and that individuals thrive when given the right tools, insight, and support. Whether someone is navigating a traumatic relationship, healing from past trauma, or looking for relief from complex autoimmune symptoms, Kristin offers grounded expertise, lived experience, and a clear path forward.
