As a campaigner for others and challenger of the status quo, Sean is creative, diplomatic, honest, and supportive. He is an intuitive collaborator, striving for peace and balance to be the foundational experience for all. He is dedicated to helping people uncover – and be – their best version. Sean’s focus on relationships, family, grief and loss is rooted in an integrated approach to counselling: reflecting on our thoughts and beliefs (CBT and DBT), the stories that we tell ourselves based on those beliefs (Narrative Therapy), and the meaning we place on the events in our lives (Attachment Theory and Ego-Based concepts).
It is through a wide range of lived experiences, including numerous work and social environments, and his many travels, that Sean has learned to interact with people from all walks of life and has come to believe that overcoming obstacles is easier when there is a community of support to connect with and rely on.
No matter what we do or where we are from, I believe that we are all struggling with something and are doing the best we can.

Hey there! My name is Rita, and I think it's fair to say that we all hit rough patches in life. It takes a boatload of courage sometimes, just to reach out for a little support. Well, I'm here to lend an ear and a hand whenever you need it. Life's full of twists and turns, and I get it. With a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution, I bring a high level of expertise and a commitment to excellence in supporting adults and adolescents. My approach is rooted in empathy and a dedication to advocating for those who may feel unheard in their mental health journeys. I work closely with young adults, particularly men and individuals from minority backgrounds, helping them recognize the importance of their own experiences and embrace vulnerability as a pathway to resilience. My name is Heather and I am a Registered Professional Counsellor with the CPCA and a member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. Your first step of reaching out for counselling can be a difficult one and yet opens you up to experience positive change. As a counsellor, I aim to be a compassionate companion, walking alongside you on your journey of healing by creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. I aim to counsel with compassion, and connection and create space for change and growth.
I am a long-time resident of North Vancouver, BC, and my passion and purpose in life have been helping others. I enjoy connecting with people and listening from a place of kindness and compassion, with the hope of continuing to create and contribute to our community, a space for supporting one's journey and overall well-being. My educational background and work experience consist of having worked in the medical field in the following areas: pediatric lab/pathology, radiology, and long-term care. In addition, I have studied and worked in the social work field and early childhood education. In 2019, I was diagnosed with several autoimmune conditions that resulted in my retirement as a medical laboratory assistant; but I remained in the healthcare field in an administrative role in radiology and long-term care. It was during my time there; that I began reflecting and realized just how much I missed working with people directly and decided to stay in the helping field and pursue a career as a Counsellor.
Upon my return to school, I discovered just how passionate I am about clinical counselling, and it has passionately called out to me, allowing for personal growth while being a resource to others.

Women who experience many life transitions often need support navigating concurrent challenges. I help women discover how to manage the anxiety, depression, and stress that often accompanies these transitions. I offer a safe and compassionate environment to explore personal struggles and find healing to live a meaningful life.
As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, my approach is human-centred, trauma-informed and strength-focused. Using both integrative and holistic approaches, I provide an approach that is comfortable and safe for you to explore your unique wisdom.
I draw on a variety of treatment options including Mindful CBT, DBT and Somatic Therapies. In addition, for those who are interested, I integrate spirituality and Christian counselling.
Through my unique approach, I support and guide clients in understanding themselves and their spiritual journey while processing wounds and coming home to themselves.
